01 — Philosophy

Relaxation over force.

Wing Chun is a southern Chinese martial art built on three quiet principles: relaxation, structure, and leverage. It does not ask you to be stronger than your opponent — it teaches you to be more efficient than the moment.

For a quarter of a century, Sifu Mark Tham has shared this tradition in Singapore. Our classes welcome students of all fitness levels, from curious nine-year-olds to seventy-five-year-old grandparents rediscovering their balance.

“The art of Wing Chun is for everybody — every body.”

02 — Why Wing Chun

A practice that meets you where you are.

01

Low impact

Gentle on joints. Built on structure, not force — ideal for seniors and beginners.

02

Balance & coordination

Footwork drills sharpen proprioception and steady the body as it ages.

03

Mental clarity

Sticky-hands practice trains presence, patience, and quiet focus.

04

Practical defence

Close-range, efficient techniques you can actually use under pressure.

05

Cardiovascular health

Sustained, mindful movement that strengthens heart and lungs.

06

Confidence

Standing in your own structure — physically and otherwise.
